Happy spring forward day. although lets be honest…not much is happy about it. We lose an hour of sleep and its been rainging all day. So…Happy Tired and Wet day
So – Its come to my attention there are some terrific things going on in life and it fares being mentioned. Number 1.
Ashley, Jadyn and I are preparing our lives for the summer arrival of the 4th member of our Savage band. Hopefully he’ll be a drummer. This player to be named later is due to join the world on August 9th…and we are more than excited! Its amazing that I’m going to be 25 and have two kids! God is good.
So on top of our preparations for drummer savage, Ash and I are getting ready to move Jadyn into a “big girl bed”. This is quite a fun, sad, and slightly wet task. This beautiful girl of ours is growing up WAY to fast.
NUMBER 2. I think it just needs to be said that we LOVE our Church. Truth be told, this did not come as easilly as expected. Even in the greatest places and times in life, you never get to fully experience the joys of where you are if never actually Embrace it. Thats the key word in this equation. We’ve always liked our church. And we’ve always liked the people. But in the last few months we’ve really been intentional to embrace the people, embrace the vision…and its amazing the Love that has grown. Its more and more an honor to worship here. God is really stiring up something amazing here. I can just feel that the Holy Spirit is at work in the lives of the people.
LASTLY - I’m working on an album. FINALLY. I’ve been writing for it, talking about it. dreaming about it. anouying Ashley about it…and its happening. I’ve been underway a little while now…but hoping to really make some big strides this month. I’m working with a killer guy named Steve…the guy is brilliant. Its fun working with a guy who i’ve not known before this project…He’s helping bring a fresh angle on the music im doing and helping bring it more life and dimension. I’ll keep everyone posted as it comes along…
