Friends and Family (and those of you who feel like family)
This post is of a special purpose. I need to request to all of you prayer warriors out there to get to praying.
Yesterday (Saturday) my mom called me to tell me of news that she heard just moments before. (you never know what a phone call can do to your night). My family got word yesterday that my Aunt Linda has tumors in her brain. This obviously is a pretty big deal and a pretty shocking one at that. At this point, we dont know much, other than there are no other ones in her body expect in her brain. Tomorrow (about noon I think) the dr’s will biopsy the tumors to learn more about what is beaing dealt with. My aunt lives down in Missouri and this makes it very hard on my Mom and Grandparents as they are 14 hours of drive time away from her right now.
A little about my Aunt – she is one of the most amazingly strong women I’ve ever known. Not only that, but she is also a wonderful women of God. It is near impossible to have a conversation with her without feeling encouraged and challenged by her faith and her genuine love for Christ.
In scripture it tells us to “Ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, and knock and the door will be opened.” In that spirit, I ask that you would join with me and my family as we Ask God to deliver my Aunt from this hardship. Ultimately we ask that God would be Glorified in this situation and that regardless of our understanding of his plan that He would work this for the good of His kingdom. However God is the master healer and we are praying for a miracle.
Please keep our family in your prayers. For my Aunt Linda, her husband Rick, and her two daughters Beth and Jessica. And if you would also for the rest of the family and my Grandparents.
