Hi Friends and Family…

So – Yesterday was an interesting day at the Savage home. While I was at the studio, I got a 911 text from Ashley. When I got a hold of her, she and my mom were taking Jadyn to the urgent care center near the house.
Up to this point – Jadyn hads had a rough last few weeks, greater half of a month. But yesterday, she woke up with a cough and trowing up. After that happened she seemed normal, just tired…but as the day continued, she got more and more uncomfortable. For what I know (again, I wasnt there for the start of all this)…Ashley was at the mall with my parents and sisters…and Jadyn was seeming constipaded and hurting. This progressed into hours of screaming in pain. I got to the urgent care about 3:30…and when I saw her it broke my heart to see this little girl in such discomfort. The DR took 1 look at her and said “go to the ER”.
We headed to Royal Oak Beaumount. Jadyn was still in pain – and her belly was pretty much rock hard. The DR there examined her, and then did what doctors do best – and scared the socks of us with his words and outloud processsing. We had to get her belly x-rayed, and IV in her arm, and a CT scan. Nothing can break your heart more than to see your beautiful daughter with an IV in her arm…scared, and hurting.
Jadyn was such a trooper! Ashley couldnt be in the x-ray and ct room because of being pregnant – with our soon to be baby boy. So I had to keep Jadyn calm – and I told her they’d take her picture…so scared…shaking…she kept forcing a smile and saying “cheese”. Tears were many.
After all this the DR’s still dont quite know what is causing all this pain in our little lady. We have to see a pediatric GI and proceed from there.
At this point – we’re glad to have her home and the IV out of her arm. And were confident in God and his healing for our girl.
We’re blessed to have such wonderful, prayer warrior friends and family.
We will continue to keep you posted but would ask you to please lift our family up in your prayers as we keep on trying to figure this out.
We love you and are thankful for you in our lives.
J, A, J.

We are praying for you and remember if you need ANYTHING please let me know.
I started lifting you all up, and most highly Jadyn, before I even got through half of this. All will be well.
Thanks for an update Jimmy. Jadyn is strong like her parents!
